Before you call you can try these simple steps:

1. Check the Thermostat: Ensure the thermostat is set above the current temperature and the thermostat is set to “heat”. Also check if the batteries need to be replaced.
2. Check electrical switches, fuses and circuit breakers: Ensure all electrical supply sources are in the on position and that breakers/fuses are ok.
3. For Oil Systems: Ensure the oil shut off valve is in the open position. Check the reset button, press & hold for 3 seconds in order to reset controls. If the furnace turns on then immediately shuts off check the fuel tank gauge, the tank might be empty.
