Your heating equipment requires annual servicing. This process includes inspection and cleaning that can detect and fix potential problems before they become expensive repairs and ensures your heating system is running at peak efficiency.
Regular maintenance for your heating equipment consists of:
- Vacuuming and cleaning of the combustion area, exhaust tubes, passages, and the smoke pipe to the chimney or direct vent.
- Cleaning the appliance burner and replacing the nozzle and oil filter.
- Checking and cleaning the nozzle assembly, electrodes, transformer, and cad cell.
- Conducting a CO2, efficiency, smoke, and draft test plus checking all the safeties.
- This maintenance can be done at any time of the year
